Teach Children to Save
April is Financial Literacy Month, and April 22nd was National Teach Children to Save Day. Throughout the month of April, organizations across the country conduct a variety of events and carry out initiatives designed to improve financial literacy, especially among our nation’s youth, and to promote financial well-being for all consumers. It is never too early to start developing good savings/spending habits, and we at First National Bank of Waterloo are here to help instill that. While this exercise is geared towards those in 3rd through 5th grade, it takes us back to the basics and you can certainly learn something at any age.
